core values to live by

my 3 beliefs

Life is too short to do something that doesn’t bring you joy.

We are all perfectly imperfect beings and shouldn’t be afraid to show our flaws.

You are in control of your thoughts, actions, and health.

Meet The Owner

hey, i’m erin

My name is Erin Souza and I am a Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner, Board Certified Holistic Health Practitioner, and a Registered Dental Hygienist. I have been in the healthcare industry for over a decade and my passion for helping others has always been a part of me since I was a little girl.

I am what most would call a health and wellness enthusiast but it wasn’t until just a few years ago that I really understood what being “healthy” actually looked like. I had no clue what foods did what for my body, or which ingredients were what -as long as I looked good in my clothes, it didn’t really matter to me what quality of foods went in my body.

how it started

Fast forward to having kids and realizing my mom-bod wasn’t exactly my dream-bod. So, in 2016, I made the decision to go for breast augmentation. Little did I know that this choice would become an environmental trigger, setting off a series of health challenges for me. Fatigue, weight gain, skin issues, and inflammation became my constant companions. But in 2018 I discovered Breast Implant Illness, and I had the implants removed through en bloc explant surgery.

I struggled with my health for years, acquiring diagnosis after diagnosis- hypothyroidism, adrenal insufficiency, pyoderma gangrenosum, anxiety disorder… I was so sick of the never ending labels and pharmaceuticals that were only making more symptoms appear. It wasn’t until early 2021 when I finally HAD ENOUGH and made the bold move to go back to school to become educated in the functional medicine side of things and see if I could help myself!

Through functional lab testing I uncovered so many healing opportunites that my PCP would of never found with standard bloodwork & was able to follow a custom protocol with natural supplements that addressed many different things. I am always a work in progress, but I have put my autoimmune disease in to remission, my energy levels are back up, digestion has improved and I’m able to live life again. Getting these remarkable results is what fueled my desire to want to help others heal in this same way.

I spent years disconnected from myself, suffering serious health imbalances as a result. The feelings of grief and sadness that were with me are still so clear in my memory. That is why my goal is to help you on your path to becoming the best version of yourself. Investigating the hidden issues at the core of your physical health, I provide the necessary recommendations, advice, and supplements that will help restore balance. It is my goal to help people become more aware of their bodies and to trust the wisdom of their own internal rhythms.

when I’m not working…

When I’m not immersed in my career, you’ll find me cherishing moments with my wonderful husband and two amazing children. I’m a lifelong learner, always hungry for knowledge and constantly seeking opportunities to expand my education. Nature calls to me, and you’ll often find me spending time outdoors, soaking up the beauty around me. And here’s a little secret: I have a knack for dancing around, singing my heart out to my favorite 80’s tunes. It’s my way of embracing joy and letting loose.

Ready to join me on a journey towards vibrant health? Let’s embark on this adventure together, and together we’ll groove to the rhythm of well-being. Reach out to me today, and let’s get started!

Some times it can take at little at a month to start noticing differences, but in other cases 6 months. Each persons experience will vary.

While bloodwork provides valuable insights into your health, it primarily focuses on extracellular levels—the substances circulating in your bloodstream at the time of the test. It offers a snapshot of your current state, which can be influenced by various factors like recent meals or stress levels. Think of it as capturing a single frame of a movie.

Whereas, the HTMA, instead of focusing solely on the extracellular levels, it takes a deep dive into your intracellular levels—the substances stored within your cells over the past 3-4 months. It offers a more comprehensive and long-term perspective, like watching the entire movie rather than just a single frame.
